The Fog
For the class, Entertainment Design III, our class partnered with two directors who wanted to create a puppet show for young audiences based off of the childrens book, The Fog by Kyo Maclear. This project is a collaboration to create a colorful and exciting show, where all of the animal characters in the story are puppets. The characters were created by the costume design students in a separate class led by Sheryl Haler. All of the sets were conceived, visualized and realized by the amazing creativity of the Entertainment Design Juniors. The show is intended to travel to schools and other venues across the state and possibly beyond.
Final Show Set
After two months of work, we were able to bring together the set pieces and the actual puppets to take some photos.

Fabrication Team
After receiving the design intent documentation, the fabrication team immediately got to work. We made a few reference boards and began to construct the show set. We cut large sheets of half inch plywood and painted them to look like mountains. This set was designed by the visualization team but I was in charge of making sure that it would be easy to pack up and travel with.
